HIV Testing
Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) is most commonly transmitted through anal or vaginal sex or sharing injection drug equipment with a person infected with HIV. It is possible to have HIV infection and have no symptoms for many years. If you have had unprotected sex or engaged in sharing injection drug equipment, you should get a tested for HIV. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends persons between the ages of 13 and 64 be routinely tested for HIV.

All Counseling, Testing and Referral (CTR) services are free, and a person can choose anonymous or confidential testing. Testing is conducted via blood specimen or oral-fluid test. Results are available within one week and are given face-to-face.
