Kristian Ballerini
Bucks County Treasurer

Kristian Ballerini, Bucks County TreasurerKristian Ballerini began her tenure as Bucks County Treasurer on January 6, 2020. A 20-year Bucks County resident, Kris Ballerini raised her two daughters in the Pennsbury School District and now lives with her husband in Upper Makefield Township. There she has served as a township supervisor, helping to oversee a $12 million annual budget.

Ms. Ballerini is a former bank manager whose 13 years of financial services experience incorporate the training and background needed to serve as Bucks County’s treasurer. She started as a bank teller and eventually was responsible for daily oversight of $100,000 in cash, managing a staff of 15 and leading business development.

Ms. Ballerini also has dedicated herself to serving as a voice for the needy. For 10 years, she spoke for victims of crime – frequently sexual assault – on behalf of the county’s Network of Victim Assistance (NOVA). She co-wrote, produced and helped direct “The Edge,” a five-part video series on homelessness in Bucks County for Advocates for Homeless and Those in Need (AHTN). In addition, in the aftermath of a massive earthquake, she has traveled to Haiti three times with her church to help rebuild a community’s infrastructure, including an education center and a water infiltration system.

A voracious reader, Ms. Ballerini occasionally can be found on Sunday afternoons working in a locally owned book store, her favorite refuge.
