Jamie Greubel Poser, bobsledder from Bucks County in the 2018 Winter OlympicsThe Board of Bucks County Commissioners is pleased to support three county residents who will compete in the 2018 Olympic Winter Games in PyeongChang, South Korea over the next two weeks. Jamie Greubel Poser of Newtown, Ryan Gunderson of Bensalem and Brian O’Neill of Yardley are three of just nine Pennsylvanians representing the United States in the Games.

“We are excited to watch our Bucks County athletes wear the red, white and blue over the upcoming days,” Commissioner Chairman Rob Loughery said. “We are proud of the commitment they have made in order to compete on the international stage.”

Ms. Poser, a bobsledder, is competing in her second consecutive Winter Olympics, partnered with Aja Evans. Having gone to the 2010 Vancouver Games as an alternate, it was not until the 2014 Winter Sochi Games that she made her Olympic debut. Her performance in the 2014 Games, alongside Evans, earned Team USA the bronze medal in the two-woman bobsleigh. Originally a track star at Cornell University, Poser transitioned her athletic training and skills to the bobsled to become an Olympian.

He played collegiately at the University of Vermont and has a wealth of professional and international experience including winning the Swedish championship in 2012, which he considers the highlight of his career before the Winter Games
