A Message from the Bucks County Recorder of Deeds

Bucks County Recorder of Deeds, Robin Robinson, would like consumers to be aware of the Home Title Lock Scam

Doylestown, PA, June 1, 2018: Recorder of Deeds, Robin Robinson, would like to make the public aware of yet another scam that is targeting homeowners in Bucks County. This particular group is called Home Title Lock and has been advertised on TV channels such as ABC, CBS, FOX and NBC.

The website, www.hometitlelock.com states “Home Title Lock’s proprietary technology forms a virtual perimeter around your home and property title.” While this may sound like a good idea, please do not contact them.

“My office is the official custodian of deeds, mortgages and other property records both current and historical in Bucks County,” said Robinson. “You can come to my office or contact us by phone if you need assistance regarding your property. We will assist you,” added Robinson. To contact the Bucks County Recorder of Deeds office, please call 215-348-6209 or visit us on the web at www.buckscounty.org/deeds
