Recorder of Deeds Robin Robinson and Representatives from American Heritage Hold a check for Safe HarborDoylestown, PA, April 20, 2018:   Dorian Smith and Michael Webster from American Heritage Federal Credit Union presented Robin Robinson, Bucks County Recorder of Deeds with a check in support of Abington-Jefferson Health’s Safe Harbor program.  This program offers grief care for children, teens and their parents or caregivers after the loss of a sibling or parent/caregiver. Safe Harbor is a program that is endeared to Robin and is just one of the places she volunteers with.

Robinson said, “When my husband suddenly died seven years ago, Safe Harbor was a Godsend to my two children and me.”  “I have been volunteering there since and am so proud to be able to help share information about the invaluable work they do in helping children and their families cope with the loss of a parent or sibling.” “I want to personally thank and commend American Heritage Federal Credit Union for supporting this organization that is so very near and dear to my heart,” said Robinson.

The Safe Harbor program depends on many volunteers and contributors to provide the support needed.  For more information about Safe Harbor, please contact them at 215-481-5983.
