Bucks County Recorder of Deeds to Participate in a Trio of Upcoming Expos to Issue Veterans ID Discount Cards

Over the next week, the Bucks County Recorder of Deeds office will participate in a trio of expos to issue Veteran’s ID Discount Cards. The events include State Representative John Galloway’s Senior Expo in Fairless Hills on Thursday, October, 12, the Veterans Expo at Bensalem’s Parx Casino on Saturday, October 14, and at the Northampton Veterans Expo in Richboro on Tuesday, October 17.

Those in attendance also can receive details about other Veteran benefits as well as the Bucks County Tour of Honor and upcoming trip to Washington, D.C. (www.BucksCountyTourofHonor.org). The expo event information is as follows:

Interested veterans must bring their original DD-214 form in order for the Recorder of Deeds staff to proceed with issuing the cards. Information about the program is available by calling 215-348-6209.  To date, approximately 1,400 Bucks County businesses offer considerable discounts (5-20 percent on merchandise and services) to more than 14,000 eligible veterans who hold the Bucks County Veterans ID card. A list of participating businesses is available on the official County website. To register a business to participate in the Veterans ID Discount Card Program, please call the County Recorder of Deeds office at 215-348-6209 or visit www.BucksCounty.org to fill out a form stating intent to take part.
