The Bucks County Recorder of Deeds staff will make another stop on its 2017 Veteran ID Discount Card road tour on Tuesday, April 11, in Levittown. The event will take place from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. at Senator Chuck McIlhinney’s Senior Expo, Levittown Fire Company #1, 702 Falls-Tullytown Rd. Veterans will have the opportunity to receive a free ID card as well as learn more information about organizations that can provide assistance. Those in attendance also can receive details about the upcoming Bucks County Tour of Honor trips to Washington, D.C. (www.BucksCountyTourofHonor.org). The event is scheduled as follows:

Interested veterans must bring their original DD-214 form in order for the Recorder of Deeds staff to proceed with issuing the cards. Information about the program is available by calling 215-348-6209.
Approximately 1,400 Bucks County businesses now offer considerable discounts (5-20 percent on merchandise and services) to more than 14,000 eligible veterans who hold the Bucks County Veterans ID card. A list of participating businesses is available on the official County website. To register a business to participate in the Veterans ID Discount Card Program, please call the county Recorder of Deeds office at 215-348-6209 or visit www.BucksCounty.org to fill out a form stating intent to take part.
