A new planning initiative coordinated by the Bucks County Planning Commission will aim to help revitalize Morrisville’s downtown. Bucks County planners are assisting the borough in establishing a vision, developing tools, and setting priorities.
Blessed with an exceptional location, good neighborhoods, and a deep connection to history, Morrisville Borough has long been a hub for economic activity. Like many traditional downtowns, however, Morrisville has struggled to remain the vibrant economic and social center it once was in the past. Morrisville Borough is looking to both inform and seek direction from its residents to help shape the future of the downtown.
Morrisville Borough, along with staff from the Bucks County Planning Commission, will host an open house on Wednesday, March 22, 2017, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The meeting will be held at:
Morrisville Borough Hall
35 Union Street
Morrisville, PA 19067
Michael Roedig, a senior planner with the Bucks County Planning Commission, said interested citizens can come to the meeting at any time during the open house hours and will be able to provide comment on the initiative. The public will be able to view displays and express comments and concerns to project staff and borough officials.
