The Bucks County Recorder of Deeds staff will visit two more locations on Thursday, Sept. 22 and Saturday, Sept. 24, in Levittown and Yardley. The first event will be Sen. Tommy Tomlinson’s Senior Expo from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. on Sept. 22 at Falls Manor, 4010 New Falls Rd., Levittown. On Saturday, Sept. 24, the staff will visit the Yardley VFW Post 6993 located at 1444 Yardley-Newtown Rd. from noon-5 p.m. At each location, veterans will have the opportunity to receive a free ID card as well as learn more information about organizations that can provide assistance.

Interested veterans must bring their original DD-214 form in order for the Recorder of Deeds staff to proceed with issuing the cards. Information about the program is available by calling 215-348-6209.
Approximately 1,375 Bucks County businesses now offer considerable discounts (5-20 percent on merchandise and services) to more than 14,000 eligible veterans who hold the Bucks County Veterans ID card. A list of participating businesses is available on the official County website. To register a business to participate in the Veterans ID Discount Card Program, please call the county Recorder of Deeds office at 215-348-6209 or visit www.BucksCounty.org to fill out a form stating intent to take part.
