County Recorder of Deeds Office to Offer Veterans ID Discount Cards at Three Events during Week of Sept. 13-17, 2016

The Bucks County Recorder of Deeds staff will visit three events during the week of September 13-17, 2016, starting with a Tuesday, Sept. 13 appearance at Carrabba’s Italian Grill in Bensalem from 11:30 a.m.-7 p.m. The week also will include appearances at Rep. John Galloway’s Senior Expo (10 a.m.-1 p.m. in Fairless Hills) on Thursday, Sept. 15 and a 10 a.m.-4 p.m. appearance at Langhorne’s Team Toyota on Saturday, Sept. 17. At each location, veterans will have the opportunity to receive a free ID card as well as learn more information about organizations that can provide assistance.

Interested veterans must bring their original DD-214 form in order for the Recorder of Deeds staff to proceed with issuing the cards. Information about the program is available by calling 215-348-6209. 

Approximately 1,375 Bucks County businesses now offer considerable discounts (5-20 percent on merchandise and services) to more than 14,000 eligible veterans who hold the Bucks County Veterans ID card. A list of participating businesses is available on the official county website.

To register a business to participate in the Veterans ID Discount Card Program, please call the county Recorder of Deeds office at 215-348-6209 or visit www.BucksCounty.org to fill out a form stating intent to take part.
