Commissioners Offer Support for “Out of the Darkness” Walk to Fight Suicide Sunday, June 5 in Fairless Hills

Students from Neshaminy High School signing up for the Out of the Darkness WalkThe Board of Bucks County Commissioners is proud to partner in a nationwide event to bring fundraising and awareness of mental health conditions and suicide. To that end, the commissioners encourage residents to participate in the Sunday, June 5 “Out of the Darkness” Walk To Fight Suicide on the campus of the Bucks County Technical High School in Fairless Hills. The walk will support the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP).

“This is the first multi-school district walk,” said Commissioner Diane M. Ellis-Marseglia, LCSW. “It shows our school districts collaborating to focus on mental wellness in our schools and community.” Participating school districts include Neshaminy, Bristol Township, Pennsbury, Bensalem, Conwell-Egan Catholic and Bucks County Technical High School.
