Bucks County Recorder of Deeds staff will travel from Lower Bucks County to Upper Bucks County this Friday and Saturday, November 7 & 8 to administer Veteran Discount Cards. Veterans will have the opportunity to receive a free ID card at the following locations:
Friday, November 7, 2014 Bristol Township Senior Center 2501 Bath Rd. Bristol, PA 19007 9 am until 12 pm | Saturday, November 8, 2014 Upper Perkiomen High School 2 Walt Rd. Pennsburg, PA 18073 8 am until 10:30 am |
Interested veterans must bring their original DD-214 form in order for the Recorder of Deeds staff to proceed with issuing the cards. These events are for Bucks County residents only. More information about the program is available by calling 215-348-6209.
To date, over 1,100 Bucks County businesses have agreed to offer substantial veterans discounts (5-20 percent on merchandise and services) to those holding the Bucks County Veterans ID card, and more are signing up to participate each day. To register a business to participate in the Veterans ID Discount Card Program, please call the county Recorder of Deeds office at 215-348-6209 or visit www.BucksCounty.org to fill out a form stating intent to take part. A list of participating businesses is available on the official county website as well.
