County Health Department to Spray Adult Mosquitoes July 23 in Falls Township

The Bucks County Health Department, in conjunction with the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (DEP), will conduct a limited adult mosquito control spray on Tuesday, July 23, 2013, between 7:45 and 10:45 pm - weather permitting - in Falls Township.

The areas to be sprayed include the North Park section of Levittown (all streets between Northpark Drive and Falls Tullytown Road) as well as a portion of the Nottingham Village section of Fallsington, including Nottingham Drive, Nottingham Court, Jensen Drive, Nancia Drive, Taylor Drive, Robin Hood Drive, Sherwood Drive and Marion Road.

The application chemical will be Duet, applied by an ultra low volume truck mounted sprayer at a rate of one ounce per acre. The trucks to be used in the spray will be a green Chevrolet truck with the County of Bucks seal on the side, as well as a blue Ford Ranger pickup truck also with the county seal visable.
