Bucks County Recorder of Deeds Office to Hold Veterans Discount Cards Events throughout May
Throughout May, the Bucks County Recorder of Deeds Office will be continuing the tradition of taking the Veteran Discount Card Program on the road, holding three events over the next few Thursdays.
On May 9, staff will be at Sellersville Borough Hall, 140 E. Church St. from 4:00 to 7:00 pm; May 16 they will be hosted by the Disabled American Veterans, 5915 Bristol Emilie Rd, Levittown, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm; and May 23, the Recorder of Deeds office will be on hand at the Bensalem Township Building, 2400 Byberry Rd., from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.
Interested veterans must bring their original DD-214 form in order for the Recorder of Deeds staff to proceed with issuing the cards. Information about the program is available by calling 215-348-6209.
To date, over 700 Bucks County businesses have agreed to offer substantial veterans discounts (5-20 percent on merchandise and services) to those holding the Bucks County Veterans ID card, and more are signing up to participate each day.
