Bucks County Board of Elections Relocates Three Voting Districts in Advance of May 21 Municipal Primary

The Bucks County Board of Elections met today in the Bucks County Courthouse Jury Room3. During the meeting, the board conducted a brief reorganization, unanimously appointing Commissioner Diane M. Ellis-Marseglia, LCSW chair. The board also consists of Commissioners Robert G. Loughery and Charles H. Martin. After approving the minutes of the October 2, 2012, November 5, 2012 and November 13, 2012 Board of Election meetings, the board voted 3-0 to relocate the following districts in Solebury and Warminster townships for the May 21 Municipal Primary:

Solebury United Methodist Church will no longer accommodate the Board of Elections. Thompson Memorial Presbyterian Church will be a temporary relocation.

Log College Middle School
730 Norristown Rd., Warminster

Warminster Rec. & Education Center is closing. Log College Middle School will be a permanent relocation.

The Board also unanimously voted to increase future compensation for Judges of Election and inspectors at the county's voting districts. The compensation of the Judges of Election, Inspectors of Election, Clerks and Machine Inspectors for any and all elections in 2014 and beyond, shall be fixed at the following per diem rates:

  1. Judges of Election - $135 per diem
  2. Majority Inspectors of Election - $105 per diem
  3. Minority Inspectors of Election - $105 per diem
  4. Clerks - $105 per diem
  5. Machine Inspectors - $105 per diem
