Planning Commission to Hold Community Visioning Workshop Regarding Trail Along Upper Neshaminy Creek
The County of Bucks is preparing a study to determine the feasibility of establishing a trail along the Upper Neshaminy Creek. Early discussions portray the trail extending from Twin Streams Park in Chalfont south to the Forks of the Neshaminy in Rushland. The committee, comprised of various organizations interested in accommodating an active community, invites the public to join in as the design phase of this important trail system begins.
As part of this process, on Wednesday, April 3rd, the County will hold a Community Visioning Workshop to provide an overview of the project and gather ideas, suggestions and concerns. The workshop discussions will be used to obtain input into the trail design, including potential uses of the trail, amenities and features, trailhead locations and connections to the trail.
The format for the meeting will be a brief presentation followed by individual discussion groups divided according to the different areas along the proposed trail. The meeting will be held as follows:
