County Health Department to Spray Mosquitoes Sept. 7 in Falls and Bristol Townships

The Bucks County Health Department, in conjunction with the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (DEP), will conduct an adult mosquito spray on Friday, September 7, 2012, between 7:30 p.m. and 10 p.m. - weather permitting - in Falls and Bristol townships. The spray will begin at 7:30 p.m. and will involve all of Vermillion Hills in Falls Township and the following roads: Auburn, Beaumont, Chatham, Dunedin, Brentwood, Chesterton, Dunbury, Eldridge, Fairfield, Glenmore, Hanford, Stanwood, Ingram, Kavanaugh and Placemont.  In Bristol Township, the spray will include Indianola Avenue and Valmore Road.  This area will be sprayed by truck mounted sprayer.   

The vehicles to be used will be a green 1997 Chevy pickup truck and a Green Ford Ranger pickup truck.  Both vehicles will be marked with the Bucks County Health Department logo.  The chemical to be applied will be Masterline Kontrol 4-4.
