Bucks County Recorder of Deeds Office to Offer Veterans Discount Cards July 19 in Levittown

On Thursday, July 19, Recorder of Deeds staff will be available at the Levittown Free Library, as they again take the Veterans ID Discount Card program on the road. The program will run from 3:00 to 6:00 pm at the Library, located at 7311 New Falls Road, Levittown.  This is a make-up for those veterans who were unable to receive a card when Recorders of Deeds staff visited the American Legion Post #960 in Middletown Township on June 20.

Interested veterans must bring their original DD-214 form in order for the Recorder of Deeds staff to proceed with issuing the cards. Information about the program is available by calling 215-348-6209.

To date, over 200 Bucks County businesses have agreed to offer substantial veterans discounts (5-20 percent on merchandise and services) to those holding the Bucks County Veterans ID card, and more are signing up to participate each day. To register a business to participate in the Veterans ID Card Discount Program, please call Betty Carleo in the county Veterans Affairs office at 215-345-3885 or visit www.BucksCounty.org to fill out a form stating intent to take part. A list of participating businesses is available on the county website, as well.
