Bucks County Recorder of Deeds Office to Offer Veterans Discount Cards June 16 in Falls Township

The Bucks County Veterans ID Discount Card program is going back on the road.  Recorder of Deeds staff will be on hand Saturday, June 16 at the 27th Annual Donald W. Jones Flag Memorial, hosted by the Delaware Valley Vietnam Veterans at Falls Township Park, 9072 Mill Creek Road, Levittown. The program will be available during the event between 10:00 am and 4:00 pm.

“We want to reach out to as many of our county veterans as possible,” stated Bucks County Recorder of Deeds Joseph J. Szafran Jr., whose staff administrates the program. “The veteran community deserves the many discounts available to them.”

Interested veterans must bring their original DD-214 form in order for the Recorder of Deeds staff to proceed with issuing the cards. Information about the program is available by calling 215-348-6209.

To date, more than 190 Bucks County businesses have agreed to offer substantial veterans discounts (5-20 percent on merchandise and services) to those holding the Bucks County Veterans ID card, and more are signing up to participate each day. To register a business to participate in the Veterans ID Card Discount Program, please call Betty Carleo in the county Veterans Affairs office at 215-345-3885 or visit www.BucksCounty.org to fill out a form stating intent to take part. A list of participating businesses is available on the county website, as well.
