Bucks County Prothonotary Civil Court Documents Are Now Available Online
Bucks County Prothonotary Patricia L. Bachtle recently announced that civil court documents filed through the Office of the Prothonotary can be viewed online for a nominal fee. To access the system, public users should visit the official Bucks County website, www.BucksCounty.org, click the “Online Services” toolbar, go to the public access system link and choose the Prothonotary office. Payments for online civil court document viewings can be made by Visa MasterCard or Discover. Please note that Family Court documents are not available through the website. The office of the Prothonotary is the Clerk of the Civil Division of the Court of Common Pleas. This elected row officer has administrative control over and responsibility for all official documents and records of the civil and family divisions. The office is open from 8 a.m.-4:15 p.m. daily, with extended hours for passports from 8 a.m.-7:30 p.m. on the first and third Wednesdays of each month.
Please note that in observance of Independence Day, the Prothonotary will not be open for Passports on Wednesday, July 4, 2012.
