County Business Development Administrator to Participate in Two April 24 Events

On Tuesday, April 24, business owners and entrepreneurs who are seeking to grow and expand their business are encouraged to attend the Newtown Business Association meeting or the Upper Bucks Chamber of Commerce Business Expo in order to network, exchange ideas, and receive expert advice and informational material.

Bucks County Business Development Administrator Sonia Smith will be the featured speaker at the Newtown Business Association. The breakfast meeting will take place at 7:30 a.m. at Chandler Hall, located at the intersection of Sycamore and Barclay Streets, Newtown, PA, 18940.  Ms. Smith will be presenting on county resources available to help small business become more successful.

The mission of the Newtown Business Association is to promote Newtown as a great place to live, work, shop and do business. Any business that is located in Newtown or conducts business in Newtown on a regular basis is eligible to become a member of the NBA. Ms. Smith will have an exhibit at the Upper Bucks Chamber of Commerce Expo showcasing the Bucks County Business Development office services. The Expo will be held from 12:00 noon to 5:00 p.m. at the Quakertown High School, 600 Park Avenue, Quakertown, PA  18951. The theme of the Expo is Made in the USA Starts with You.

The purpose of the Upper Bucks Chamber is to strengthen the local economy by encouraging business to business and business to consumer commerce through connection building, regional promotion, and services. The Expo is free to attend; additional information on the Upper Bucks Chamber is available at www.ubcc.org.
