County Bridge No. 195 (Township Rd.) in Springfield Twp. to Close to Traffic Friday, March 16
Following a structural inspection of County Bridge No. 195 in Springfield Township, PennDOT officials have decided to close the bridge to traffic on Friday, March 16 for an undisclosed period of time in order to complete mandated repairs. The 84-foot bridge, a non-composite, pre-stressed concrete adjacent box beam structure, is located on Township Rd. and spans Cook’s Creek. Built in 1961, it is one of 115 bridges owned and maintained by the County of Bucks.
As a public notice, residents are advised that the bridge will be marked with “Bridge Closed” signs and emergency response personnel have been notified and instructed to use alternate routes to access the surrounding area.
