Health Department to Conduct Mosquito Spray October 1 in Bristol Township

The Bucks County Department of Health, in conjunction with the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (DEP), will administer an adult mosquito spray in several Bristol Township neighborhoods on Thursday, October 1, weather permitting. The event, which is intended to treat mosquitoes that could carry, transmit or amplify West Nile Virus, is slated to begin at dusk. The area to be treated involves the following roads: Fairbridge Dr., Saxony St., Queen Anne Dr., Ehret Rd., Fairhurst Rd., Elford Pl., Warwick Rd., and Cassingham Rd.

The targeted area is bordered by Hood Blvd., Levittown Parkway, New Falls Rd. and S. Olds Blvd. This event will take place with a truck-mounted applicator, using the chemical Biomist 3+15.
