Bucks County Health Department Advising Against Recreational Use of Queen Anne Creek, Lake Caroline Vicinity During Investigation
The Bucks County Health Department is currently investigating several citizen complaints of odor coming from Queen Anne Creek and Lake Caroline in Falls Township. Health officials are coordinating efforts with the Falls Township Water and Sewer Authority, the Fish and Boat Commission, and the Department of Environmental Protection.
Samples are being collected today with results expected 48 hours later. The Health Department offered a reminder that even during normal circumstances, these are not approved bathing areas. Until a determination can be made about any possible contaminants, the public is advised not to conduct recreational activities in this vicinity.
Questions or problems can be reported to the Health Department at 215-345-3318. No further information is available at this time.
