Bucks County Health Department to Spray for Mosquitoes in Bristol Twp.  on The Evening of July 31

Google Maps view of the Edgely sectionAs an ongoing public-safety outreach of its routine environmental treatment program, the Bucks County Health Department advises residents of the Edgely and Bath Rd. sections of Bristol Twp. that technicians will be applying adult mosquito spray beginning at 7:45 p.m. on Thursday, July 31, weather permitting. The spraying will be conducted in conjunction with the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP).

The first area to be addressed includes a section of the Edgely neighborhood off of Edgely Rd. encompassing Woodside Ave., Airport Rd., Hartel St., Hardy St. and Hanford St. The second area will include several streets off of Bath Rd. between the northern border of Brookside Ave. and the southern border of Fayette Dr.

Google maps image of Bath Road sectionAccording to the county Health Department, the application will involve less than one ounce of pesticide per acre, which will have no effect on pets or pools.
