Bucks County Health Department to Spray for Adult Mosquitoes in Bristol Twp. June 19
As a public-safety advisory regarding its routine environmental treatment program, the Bucks County Health Department asks residents of the West Bristol section of Bristol Twp. to be aware that technicians will conduct a preventative mosquito spraying at dusk on Thursday, June 19, weather permitting. This area encompasses the neighborhood with boundaries including Newport Rd., Broadway Ave. and New Rodgers Rd. (Rte. 413, although the spraying will not affect Rte. 413).
The spraying is intended to lessen the population of mosquitoes that could be associated with the transmission of West Nile Virus (WNV).
