Bail Posting

Bail can be posted at the Clerk of Courts Office, located on the 4th Floor in the Courthouse at the between regular business hours from 8am to 4:30pm, excluding Holidays.

Posting bail at the Correctional facility

• Monday through Friday from 5:00pm to 9:00pm
• Saturday and Sunday from 4:00pm to 6:00pm.

Holidays
You can post bail at the Bucks County Correctional Facility between 4:00pm and 6:00pm.

Type of Payments Accepted

• Only cash or Certified check is accepted for posting bail.
• To post real estate as collateral, you need to provide the following information: Certified Copy of an Appraisal of your real estate, certified copy of a Title Search and a copy of your deed. Your home must have equity equal to the full amount of the bail.

Bail Refund

Bail money may be applied to court costs when authorized by the defendant or surety. 

Any refund due will be mailed within 20 days of final disposition (final disposition includes the 30 day appeal period).
