Women, Infants And Children (WIC) Nutrition Education Program
WIC provides education and supplemental foods, which promote good health for pregnant, breastfeeding and postpartum women, infants and children up to age five. WIC services are free however you must financially qualify and be a resident of Pennsylvania. More information on WIC

Children's Immunization Clinics
Free vaccines are provided by the Bucks County Health Department, to protect children from various diseases. Eligible children live in Bucks County and are one month through eighteen years of age.
PLEASE NOTE
In accordance with new State law, your child will have a grace period of only five days to obtain all required vaccines for admission to school, or they will be excluded from school attendance. The Importance of Hand washing
A health educator will come out to your school, day care, or camp and talk to children about the importance of hand washing to prevent the spread of germs. This interactive activity provides knowledge for the children as well as the chance to use the germ machine to see how well they wash their hands.

Home Safety Check
A member of the BCDH Nursing staff will evaluate your home, in conjunction with a MCH visit, to check for safety hazards for children under age 5. Each participant receives a personalized report with suggestions for their home.
Child passenger safety
Certified car seat technicians are available to educate and assist parents with proper use of their car seats. Car seat check-up events are held at three locations each month throughout the County. A Car Seat Distribution program is also provided for families that qualify financially.
