Junior Sailing Camp

This beginner sailing program, suited to ages 10-16 years, will teach the basics of sailing. Kids will gain knowledge of various types of sail boats, terminology, sailing skills, rules of the road, safety, rescues and practical experience handling a boat.

This course will be taught by Dave Carroll, a former Boy Scout instructor.

This camp is limited to 16 students/8 minimum to hold the camp, with the staff ration of 1:8

A practical test will be given at the end with a certificate of completion. Department staff will assist with the camp. Bring snacks, beverage and footwear. Registration form in the Pathways Newsletter.
