Field Responses to Surface and Sub-surface Water Pollution

The Department is part of a response team for water pollution incidents that may affect the waterways of the Commonwealth. The Department enforces the PA Clean Streams Law. Incidents such as the spill of chemicals, petroleum products and additives, and fish kills, which are reported will be investigated to determine the source of the pollution.
