The Bucks County Area Agency on Aging is providing a public service of maintaining a facility directory of licensed Personal Care Boarding Homes (assisted living) in Bucks County.

The Bucks County Area Agency on Aging takes no responsibility for the licensing and quality of service provided by the personal care facilities listed in the enclosed directory. When selecting a personal care facility it is important that you consider factors that will meet your needs and those of the person entering the facility.

The Personal Care Boarding Homes are licensed and inspected yearly by the Department of Public Welfare Southeast Region for Bucks County. If you have any questions concerning licensing or inspections you may call the Department of Public Welfare at (215) 560-2916.

The Pennsylvania Department of Aging contracts with our Agency to provide Ombudsman services. The Ombudsman investigates and helps resolve complaints about the care of older persons in long term care facilities such as boarding homes, nursing homes and community care.
