Acting Chief Operating Officer

Brian Hessenthaler

Finance Director Brian Hessenthaler has been selected by the commissioners as acting chief operating officer, which among other tasks is responsible for all daily governmental affairs.

Brian Hessenthaler, who joined the county in 2004, is the Director of the Bucks County Finance and Adminstration Division since June 2004. He previously worked at Better Materials Corporation for 21 years, the last 14 holding the position of senior vice president and chief financial officer.

Hessenthaler is also highly involved in the community, active in the Langhorne Athletic Association and St. Andrew's CYO sports. He is also a member of the Langhorne Athletic Association Board of DIrectors, and coaches soccer, basketball and baseball.

Brian Hessenthaler, CPA, is a graduate of Bloomsburg University and received his MBA from Philadelphia University.He resides in Langhorne with his wife and two children.
