POSITION SUMMARY
:

Deals with the people of all ages and assists in the maintenance and operation of the boat rental in an efficient and professional manner.  Reports directly to the Assistant Manager or Manager.  Deals effectively with the public.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assists with the overall operation of boat rental including fee collection, boat rental and completing associated forms and reports.
  • Operates and maintains all boat rental equipment, grounds, docks and office in excellent condition at all times.
  • Operates a cash register and completes daily/weekly financial reports and any others as required.
  • Acquires and maintains certifications or attends training classes as required by the department.
  • Enforces safety standards and emergency procedures for operation of boat rental.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

  • American Red Cross CPR and/or first aid certification required.Successful completion of American Red Cross (or Boy Scout) Small Craft Safety program.
  • Familiarity with PA water and boating regulations a plus.
  • Experience with water sport activities and equipment such as sailing, canoeing, rowing and kayaking
  • Possess excellent communication skills.
  • Highly motivated and personable.
  • Must enjoy working with people of all ages and able to handle emergencies or conflicts.
  • Experience in a retail/service oriented business desired.
  • Possess excellent math and bookkeeping skills.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule up to but not exceeding 40 hours a week including weekends and holidays (weather dependent)

POSITION SUMMARY
:

Handles money responsibly and deals effectively with pool patrons.  Reports directly to the Head Clerk.  Deals effectively with people of all ages.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Operates POS system, handles and counts money and completes daily/weekly financial reports and any others as required.
  • Cleans and maintains the concession area including all equipment according to operational instructions and safety procedures.
  • Supervises patrons and enforces rules.
  • Acts as gatekeeper for incoming patrons, checking pool tags, issuing registrations and collecting admissions fees.
  • When needed, monitors pool water slide.
  • Performs a variety of maintenance tasks.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

  • Able to operate POS system and to perform mathematical skills required for making change, calculating change and completing financial reports.

POSITION SUMMARY
:

Responsible for the supervision of patrons using the swimming pool and facilities.  Lifeguards are the primary caretakers of the pool and perform maintenance and other tasks.  Reports directly to the Head Guard.  Deals effectively with people of all ages.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • As needed, assists Pool Manager with daily operations.
  • Enforces all department rules and regulations of the pool.
  • Maintains surveillance of patrons and enforces safety standards and procedures.
  • Assists or teaches lessons or other programs as assigned.
  • Performs a variety of maintenance tasks as scheduled/required.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
