 POSITION SUMMARY:

Performs a variety of tasks including foot, boat, bike and vehicle patrol to insure the proper provision of public services to park patrons.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Must be people oriented and willingness to assist the public.
  • Must be able to operate County vehicle and mobile radio.
  • Experience and knowledge of handling powered watercraft.
  • Work eight to ten-hour tours of duty.
  • Willing to be trained in CPR and first aid.
  • Ability to follow directions and be self-supervising.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license.
  • Must be in good physical condition.
  • Must be able to work all weekends and holidays.
  • Proficiency in bicycle operation and swimming.
