Asset Management

The County Asset Manager is responsible for the management, organization and disposal of the County’s assets. 

Investigations, on-site inspections and recommendations pertaining to the acquisition and disposal of County properties are handled by the Asset Manager.  The Asset Manager oversees leases, direct purchases and makes recommendations on appraisals.

The Asset Manager also oversees the acquisition, maintenance and management of all vehicles in the County’s fleet.  The County’s car share program is also operated through the Asset Manager.

In addition, the Asset Manager manages the County’s surplus inventory and disposal of personal property. He works closely with the County’s Purchasing Department to identify and post surplus items for sale on the County’s auction websites.
