Domestic Relations is a court related department that assists the public in filing to establish a court ordered child or spousal support obligation.  This office also administers, collects, and enforces such court support orders once they are established. 

The Domestic Relations Section processes all complaints filed to establish or modify court orders for child support, spousal support and alimony pendente lite.  This includes order entered for medical support (medical insurance coverage) for the benefit of a child or spouse.  It also processes those cases that require paternity establishment. 

The Domestic Relations Section collects and disburses all support payments received to the proper payment beneficiaries of the court order, and maintains a record of same.  Participates fully in the Federal Title IV-D Child Support Enforcement Program and complies with all applicable State/Federal laws and regulations.

Copies of the Statewide Support Guidelines are available for public inspection at the Domestic Relations Section offices.  These guidelines are also available for inspection in the County's public libraries.
