22 county parks comprising over 6,500 acres offering both passive and active recreation; facilities include three nature centers, two pools, two tennis centers, youth hostel, golf course, three campgrounds; activities in parks include boating, fishing, picnicing, hiking, and a variety of recreational activities including concert series, kite day, children's art festival, ski trips, etc.
