Services and activities available
to all families of Bensalem Township (children may be birth
to 5 years and children may attend nonpublic schools); Parent
Education series for parents of children of all ages; Parent
As Teacher program providing in home services focusing on early
childhood development; case management and social work services;
resource materials on student, parent, and school issues; a
collaboration of the Bensalem School District and many private
and public community agencies.
Contact Parent Coordinator 9:00am to 4:00pm, Monday to Friday;
some evening activities.

Newly opened center aims to provide
variety of services to help build healthy families in the Bensalem
area; emergency housing and case management for education on
permanent, affordable housing opportunities in collaboration
with the Bucks County Housing Group; on-site individual, family,
and marriage counseling; a range of children and adults groups,
including life skills to reduce the threat of homelessness
and increase employment potential; parenting education; access
to health care and transportation if needed.

The YWCA’s four Family Centers are located in the Bucks Landing Apartments in Warminster, and in the Bucks Meadow, Country Commons and Creekside Apartments, all in Bensalem.
YWCA Family Centers offer educational and self-sufficiency programs that build self-esteem, strong families, and safe communities. We offer classes in Computer, ESL, Financial Literacy, Citizenship, Parenting and social services as well as referrals. Call the YWCA Program Outreach Center 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday to Friday, for additional information on our Family Centers. |
