Understanding the Levels of Care - A Livengrin Council Panel Presentation

If you have been affected by addiction, directly or indirectly, it is not only extremely stressful, but also difficult to understand all the jargon and abbreviations. What does it all mean: "Detox," "IOP," "GOP," "Partial," and may more.  Free to attend the Panel Presentation; must register in advance.

The Power of Family in Fighting Addiction

Community Forum regarding the impact of families on the opioid crisis. With Amy McCrary and Paul Lavella, MA, LPC, LCADS, ACS, and sponsored by Summit Behavioral Health and the Alpha Center for Divorce Mediation. Issued to be discussed: roles and symptoms family members commonly experience, importance of self-care for personal wellness, how this (families dealing with addiction) can happen to anyone. Registration required for the Community Forum; light refreshments will be served.

Drug Take-Back: Medication Disposal Program
Saturday, October 28, 2017 from 10 am to 2 pm
Several Locations throughout the County

Turn-in your UNUSED, UNWANTED, EXPIRED medication for FREE and ANONYMOUS safe disposal. Help protect both our youth and our environment by safely disposing of your medication at one of the drop off locations listed on the Take-Back flyer. There are also 30 permanent boxes for safe disposal between the fall and spring Take-Back events.
