The mission of the Bucks County Center for Independent Living is to assure that all individuals residing in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, regardless of disability, are provided with tools to achieve the level of independent living to which they aspire based on their individual needs and desires. Keeping Yourself Safe.at home, at work, and in the community: Personal safety and sexual assault risk reduction training program for adults with developmental disabilities; designed to be presented in one hour modules over several weeks, using slides and a consumer activity guide to enhance learning. Training is also available for support and professional staff.
Your Safety.Your Rights: Personal safety and sexual assault risk reduction training program for adults age 18 and older with physical and sensory disabilities; includes a personal safety training video with open and closed captioning and video description; training for staff who work with people with disabilities also includes indicators of sexual victimization and how to handle disclosures.
8:30am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday.
