FAQ's

1. Where can I have my CRN evaluation completed and do the Alcohol Highway Classes or Multiple Offender Classes?
You may contact either of the following agencies:

Livengrin Foundation
195 Bristol Oxford Valley Rd,
Fairless Hills (Langhorne) PA 19047
(215) 638-5266
www.livengrin.org

The Council of Southeast Pennsylvania, Inc
252 W Swamp Rd
Baliwick Office Campus, #33
Doylestown, PA 18901
(215) 230-8715

2. How long will it take me to complete the Alcohol Highway Safety Classes or the Multiple Offender Classes?
Both the Alcohol Highway Classes and Multiple Offender Classes take approximately twelve (12) weeks (one evening per week) to complete. However each of the program providers provide accelerated week- end versions of the Classes.

3. How Long will my driver's license be suspended?
If you are placed on ARD your driver's license will be suspended for 30 Days. All other suspensions are for one (1) year. If, however you refuse to take a breath test/blood test at the time of your arrest, your license will be suspended for an additional year. PENNDOT maintains your suspension records.

4. Will I be able to drive to work?
There are no provisions in the law for special or limited driving privileges if your license has been suspended as a result of a DUI conviction.

5. When will my suspension go into effect?
Your suspension goes into effect immediately following your sentencing. However, you will not begin to receive credit until the completion of the service of your minimum sentence.

6. Who will notify PENNDOT that I have completed all of the requirements of the Multiple Offenders program?
Based on where you completed the Multiple Offender Classes (Livengrin Foundation or Bucks County on Alcoholism and Drug Dependency) that agency will notify the Bucks County Clerk of Courts Office that you have successfully completed your Multiple Offender Classes. Once your court cost/fines and administrative fees have been paid in full, the Clerk of Courts Office will notify PENNDOT that you have satisfactorily completed the requirements of the Multiple Offender program. Please note that some materials you receive from PENNDOT will say that it is the Probation Department that is responsible for reporting your status to them. That is not true in Bucks County. However, if you have problems in resolving the status of the completion of your requirements, call us for assistance.
